Absolutely charming and stunningly beautiful facility close to the beach. Big size and exceptionally nice room with comfortable bed and smoke detectors for safety measures. The magnificent view of garden. Attentive and very amiable staff and management. From the bus stop 5 minutes on foot. Very enjoyable stay, as always.

The a double room we were given had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and an individual safe. The staff was professional, gentle.

An enjoyable stay with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great pool. The breakfast was delicious and varied, offering both local and American options. The restaurant served tasty food and even offered room service. A great oasis in Jaco with fantastic amenities.

The old school Costa Rican decor made me feel like I was truly immersed in the local culture. The hearty American breakfast included in my stay was absolutely delicious, fueling me up for a day of adventure. The Mexican restaurant on site served wood-fired pizza that was out of this world, and the staff were super friendly. I loved the daily drink and food specials, and the comfortable pool chair pads and shade made lounging by the pool a dream.

The cleanliness of the resort was top-notch and we were pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the main road and beach, making it convenient for us to explore. The resort's amenities were beyond our expectations, with a basketball/football court and a playground for the kids complete with a slide. The staff were amazing! We were particularly in awe of the pool area, although the lounge chairs could have been more comfortable, it was no big deal as we just brought cushions from our room. The price we got for two villas for nine people was jaw-droppingly excellent, even though the rooms were a bit outdated, the air-conditioning worked great and we were okay with it considering the price. The breakfast provided on-site was EXCELLENT, with a choice of American or typical options and fresh fruit. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. In addition, we got to see scarlet macaws and turtles on the property, which the kids loved. The restaurant up front offered a mouth-watering selection and we were impressed to see even locals picking up food from there. The option to order from the restaurant and have it delivered to your room was super convenient. Lastly, we were thrilled to be able to book a massage during our stay. our experience at Amapola Resort was mind-blowingly positive in every aspect.
